Happy People, Happy Community
Kompong Dewa Foundation (KDF) was formed in May 2026, to promote volunteerism towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives under the collective goal to give back to the communities and environment in Cambodia. KD Foundation is the CSR platform of Kompong Dewa Integrated Resorts. It follows the Panca Krida (Five Pillars) framework, which means five strategic pillars of action. Its purpose is to connect business success with social responsibility, so that every decision supports one goal: happiness for our guests, employees, owners, and the local community.
Our Tag line: “Happy People, Happy Community.” – links employers, stakeholders, employees, customers’ satisfaction and community friendship.
For Kompong Dewa Resort’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Strategy, with its arm Kompong Dewa Foundation as it is beneficial to focus on programs that create long-term impact and contribution back to community while aligning with the resort’s hospitality business and commitment to sustainable tourism and community development. KDF has organized two impactful programs which is benefited to daily lives of community at Phum Ong in Ream, Prey Nob, Preah Sihanouk. To date, more than 1,690 families of Cambodian in Phum Ong have benefitted from the initiatives.
Deep Well and Rest Room Project
Kompong Dewa Resorts has officially launched the Deep Well and Rest Room Project in Phum Ong, reinforcing its commitment to community development and sustainable impact. To provide clean water and sanitation facilities to improve local quality of life.
Groundbreaking ceremony with village leaders, monks, landowners, contractors, and Kompong Dewa team. Traditional Buddhist blessing symbolizing unity and hope. Symbolic soil-turning led by KD’s Management and others stakeholders. Our CHRO emphasized sustainable, community-centered initiatives and outlined project timeline.

Empowering Communities
The KD Foundation, CSR arm of Kompong Dewa Resorts, launched its first Community Health, Hygiene, and Sanitation Drive in Phum Ong Community, Sihanoukville Province. To equip residents with knowledge and tools for lasting health improvements through daily hygiene practices (handwashing, toothbrushing, waste disposal, clean surroundings, and access to clean water).
Cleaner Spaces Stronger Communities
Kompong Dewa Foundation (KDF) successfully conducted a Community Clean-Up at Sangkat 4, demonstrating its continued commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
The clean-up was more than an environmental activity—it was a meaningful demonstration of collaboration between the private sector, local government, and the community. By working together toward a common goal, participants strengthened community ties while making a tangible impact on the local environment.
